RASKALS Random Acts of Simple Kindness Affecting Local Seniors (RASKALS)
Volunteer to help our disabled or senior citizens right here in the City of Vallejo!
The planned events usher in Spring cleanup held on the Saturday closest to Earth Day and Beautify Vallejo Day is held on the first Saturday in November.
RASKALS volunteers can include families, youth organizations, government classes, church groups, older adults, and just good neighbors. We always have room for volunteers.
The purpose of the RASKALS project is to help older adults through random acts of kindness.
Examples of Chores include:
Raking leaves, weeding flower beds, picking up twigs and sticks, Washing first-floor windows
Sweeping sidewalks, Trimming bushes and shrubs
